Terms & Conditions

1. All entries can be made by visiting the Stuff website - http://n900.stuff.tv/

2. All entrants must be a resident in either the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia or UAE only and fluent in English.

3. All entrants and chosen companions must be 18 years or over.

4. Entrants and their chosen travelling companion must be eligible to enter the US, with any necessary visas in place or ability to gain visas within the appropriate time prior to travel.

5. Employees and their families of Haymarket Media Group and Nokia ("The Promoters") or any of their affiliates are not eligible to enter.

6. All entries must be received by 10am GMT on the closing date of 8th January 2010.

7. All entrants must be available to travel to New York on Wednesday 27th January 2010 and return on Sunday 31st January 2010.

8. By entering this competition, the winners and their chosen companions agree to take part in the Promoters’ video-documentary of their receipt of the prize, and consents to give the Promoters global image rights for video and photographs taken, on the understanding they will be published for the purposes of this Competition and promoting Haymarket’s and Nokia’s businesses.

9. The judges, including an independent observer, will shortlist ten entrants based on the team name’s synergy with Stuff, Nokia, and New York City.

10. The shortlisted entrants will be notified by phone or email by 9th January 2010, at which point they must confirm that they are eligible to travel to the US on the dates specified.

11. The five winning entrants will be chosen from the shortlist and notified no later than 11th January 2010 by phone or email.

12. The five winning entrants will each win a pair of tickets to New York to take part in a treasure hunt competition, with flights to and from New York, accommodation, transport and £500 spending money per pair, all included. Each winner will also receive a Nokia N900.

13. The remaining five entrants from the shortlist will all win a Nokia N900.

14. If any of the five winning entrants cannot comply with the terms and conditions, then another winner will be judged from the initial shortlist.

15. A total of 15 further winners of the Nokia N900 will be selected at random, 5 each month starting in January and finishing midnight on 31st March 2010. All winners will be selected at random and witnessed by an independent observer.

16. If the Promoter cannot contact any of the further 15 winners within a reasonable length of time, another winner will be selected at random.

17. No purchase of any sort is necessary.

19. The decision of the Promoters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

21. The prize winners will not be entitled to a cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.

All copyright and other rights that subsist in the home page and in the sub-domain pages of the stuff.tv/n900 website ("the Site") are owned by Haymarket Publications Limited ("Haymarket") or other parties. In consideration of Haymarket allowing you to access the pages of the Site all users of the Site are deemed to accept the following terms and conditions of use:

   6. to transmit or re-circulate any material obtained from the Site to any third party;

   7. in such a way so as to remove the copyright or trade mark notice(s) from any copies of any material made in accordance with these terms; or

   8. in any way that might bring Haymarket into disrepute.

3. Haymarket may publish any material you submit, post, upload, email or otherwise transmit to them or to the Site at their sole discretion and they shall be entitled to make additions or deletions to any such material prior to publication.

4. You hereby grant Haymarket a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide licence to republish any material you submit, post, upload, email or otherwise transmit to them or to the Site in any format, including without limitation print and electronic format.

5. You hereby waive all of the moral rights that you have under Chapter IV of the of the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988 in respect of any material you submit, post, upload, email or otherwise transmit to Haymarket or to the Site.

6. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or, if under 18, that you are accessing the Site with full parental/guardian consent.

7. Newsletters and Subscriptions

   This Clause shall apply where you register with Haymarket in order to receive any newsletters by email or by any other means ("the Newsletters") or you subscribe to receive copies of magazines or other publications by email, on-line download via a web browser or post ("the Publications").

   1. You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as requested by Haymarket in the registration or subscription form ("the Registration Information").

   2. You agree to maintain and promptly update the Registration Information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

   3. These terms shall apply in relation to your use of the Newsletters and the Publications in the same manner in which they apply to your use of the Site. Without affecting the generality of the foregoing, Clauses 1.1 and 1.2 above and Clauses 4 and 5 below shall also apply as if the words "the Site" were replaced by "the Newsletters and the Publications".

8. Removal of Material and cancellation of Access to the Site

   1. Haymarket shall have the right to refuse to provide you with Newsletters and/or refuse to allow you access to any of the pages on the Site at any time and for any reason without giving you any advance notice and Haymarket shall not be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever (other than losses or damages for death or physical injury arising out of the negligence of Haymarket or its employees) arising from Haymarket's refusal to provide you with Newsletters or your inability to access any of the pages on the Site.
